Dr. Kongkrit Chaiyasate is a board-certified plastic surgeon with dual fellowship training in craniofacial surgery and reconstructive microsurgery. He is the founder of the Center of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, PLLC, and serves as Professor of Plastic Surgery at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
With over 3,500 microvascular cases, 6 ASRM Best Case and Best Save awards, and 100+ peer-reviewed publications including in the New England Journal of Medicine, Dr. Chaiyasate is one of the most experienced and decorated reconstructive surgeons in the country.
His practice focuses on craniofacial reconstruction, cleft lip and palate repair, craniosynostosis correction, microvascular free tissue transfer, and facial reconstruction after cancer removal. He is dedicated to treating patients who have been told that nothing can be done for them — bringing hope and transformative results to children and adults with complex conditions.
